Shipping Policy
SHIPMENT METHOD
All orders are shipped Ground Standard Rates. Most of our shipments are handled by the US Post Office, either First Class or Priority Mail. Sometimes heavier items will go FedEx or UPS. If you are in a rush and need Next Day Air or some other premium option, get ahold of us prior to placing your order and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate you. Just remember that FedEx and UPS will not deliver to a PO box or an APO address. Shipments are made to all 50 states.
SHIPPING COSTS
The amount that shows up for shipping is calculated by a not-very-bright computer algorithm based on the weight and size of an item after its been packaged. All orders are packed by an actual human being named Mark. Mark has been doing this a LONG time and does his best to make sure that everything fits into the smallest possible box so that you pay the least amount possible for shipping. Sometimes multiple item orders are best shipped together in a USPS Flat Rate package. Sometimes extremely heavy and extremely fragile items should not be boxed together. Rest assured that Mark will do his best to pack your items so they get to you safely and as inexpensively as possible. If Mark works his magic and this results in substantial savings over what our stupid computer charged you then we will refund the difference to you. How cool is that!
INSURANCE AND TITLE
Title and risk of loss pass to customer upon tender of shipment to the carrier. Some services such as UPS, Fedex, and USPS priority mail come with a set amount of insurance, which may or may not cover the value of your purchase. If additional insurance is available it will be offered to you at check out.
