Mainly estate sales and store liquidations. We’ll also check out garage, yard, and moving sales as well though they don’t seem to offer the kinds of items we are looking for at prices that make sense.
Most of the time, yes! The majority of the items we offer for sale are unique and we only have one of them, so the image you see is of the item you will receive. In cases where we have more than one, if the items are indistinguishable from each other then you won't notice any difference.
We strive to describe our items accurately and the photos are an important part of the description so please review them carefully. We use several terms to describe an items condition, including:
- Brand New- The item is brand new, unused, unopened, undamaged, and in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag.
- Like New-The item looks new but upon close inspection there are signs it has been used. See the product description for full details and information on any imperfections
- New Other- The item is new with no functional defects. The item may be missing original packaging or the packaging may be damaged. The item may have cosmetic flaws due to long term storage or handling. See the listing for full details.
- Refurbished-This used item has had restoration work performed on it. The restoration work may have been cosmetic and/or functional in nature. The item is fully functional.
- Used- The item was previously used. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but it is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or store return that has been used.
- For Parts/Not Working- This item no longer works or serves the function it was designed for. It may be missing pieces, have some damage, or some other defect. It may still be of interest to collectors, be good for display, be a parts donor to fix another one like it, or have some remaining value.
Sorry, no, its just like a Yard Sale. Please take all the time you need to review an item to make sure it is what you need and acceptable to you. Most of the time we only have one so we can’t send you a replacement. We do offer a 30 day no-hassle return policy and more information about that can be found here.

Yep! I take the ferry boat to the mainland to ship packages.
Once you complete check out a receipt will be emailed to you. You can also log in to your account (the person icon at the top right) and view your order details, account settings, and other information about your account.
For security reasons we are only able to ship to the address that matches your credit card billing address. If you need to make other arrangements please contact us prior to placing your order.
We pack items for shipment on Mondays and Thursdays and they are turned over to the carrier the same day. If your order is placed prior to 11AM Central Time then it will be sent out the same day, otherwise it will leave the next Monday or Thursday, whichever is next.
Possibly! If you want to upgrade the shipping to a faster service please contact us prior to placing your order. If you need something shipped ASAP, contact us and we will see what we can do.
Sometimes things happen, the item won't work right, it arrived damage, or it hasn't arrived and its been a long time. Please contact us at info@bigtexasyardsale.com and give us the opportunity to make things right for you.
1) Contact us to let us know so we can watch for it and expedite your return.
2) Ship it back. Try to re-use the same packaging and method we used, if not, then please pack it in such a way that it will arrive undamaged.
3) Watch for notification that we have issued a refund, or sent a replacement.
