Flat Needle File Cut #0 OAS USA, lot 026

Description

Flat needle file is 1/8″ wide, a #0 cut.   New, from master carton so no packaging.

Swiss style needle files and riffler files use a system of 00, 0, 2, 4, & 6 for the coarsness of the teeth with 00 bing the coarsest and 6 the finest.

Any file will work with steel, aluminum, wood, etc., though the finer toothed ones will tend to load up the teeth more especially with softer materials like wood or alluminum.

Start with a coarse file and if you like the surface finish you are done. If not, go to the next finer one, etc. Just like using sandpaper.
